Christian Women's Job Corp

Christian Women's Job Corps (CWJC) provides a Christian context in which women in need are empowered to gain professional and personal skills and develop a vision for reaching their full God-given potential.

Participants enroll in RIFA CWJC for one year and complete classes in Life and Job Skills Training. 

Participants are assigned volunteer mentors who meet participants where they are in life.  Mentors encourage participants to set and meet personal goals.  Mentors provide hands-on support and are an on-going resource for participants.

Participants covenant with their mentors and RIFA demonstrating their commitment to personal growth.

Through individualized training, needs are met and women are prepared for brighter futures.

Life Skills:

• Bible study

• Money management
• Healthy relationships
• Forgiveness Conflict resolution
• Parenting

Job Readiness:

• Resume writing
• Interview preparation
• Presenting a professional appearance
• Work ethics
• Career choices

Bible Studies:

Participants enroll in a basic Bible Study of Biblical truths.  RIFA's goal is to lead and disciple each participant in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Personal Development Plans:

Participants work with the RIFA Life Enrichment Program Coordinator toward a Personal Development Plan setting goals and objectives for the following areas of their lives:

• Education
• Career
• Family and Relationships
• Financial
• Housing
• Employment
• Children

Volunteer to lead a group seminar or teach individuals.  The skills you use

in your everyday life will greatly benefit many of the participants.
